Following the closure of InfiniDB (aka Calpont Corporation) in September 2014, MariaDB Corporation has agreed to offer their customers continued assurance and world-class support for InfiniDB.

TAI has been appointed distributor status for Latin America by MariaDB 

What is InfiniDB?

InfiniDB is a scale-out MPP, high performance analytic platform built for Data Warehousing, Business Intelligence, and Big Data Analytics applications. It leverages the I/O benefits of columnar storage, compression, just-in-time projection, and horizontal and vertical partitioning to deliver tremendous performance when analyzing large data sets.

In addition to its performance benefits, InfiniDB’s columnar storage paradigm offers significant benefits from a simplicity perspective, allowing fast search and analysis on any column or combination of columns, as well as the ability to add or remove columns without requiring a table re-build.

InfiniDB is a GPLv2 open source platform delivered as a MySQL Storage engine. InfiniDB is accessed via MySQL interface for ad-hoc BI, as well as dimensional and predictive analytics. InfiniDB is available for on premise installation, or InfiniDB for AWS Cloud as well as InfiniDB for Apache Hadoop.
